Shipping & Local Pick Up
SHIPPING - Everything ships from Conway, NH 03818
How do you package pottery for shipping?
Pottery is fragile and needs a lot of packaging to keep safe in transit. I use recycled packaging materials from local businesses, friends and neighbors. I have a lot of experience shipping pottery, and a very good track record for things not breaking. In the case it does arrive broken, please reach out and I will replace it as quickly as I can.
Please reuse the packaging if you are able, or find a business who can. Last resort, recycle what you can.
What shipping carrier do you use?
I ship everything currently via the United States Postal Service.
Why is shipping expensive?
Pottery is heavy, and needs to be well packaged to survive shipping.
Can I pick up locally to save on postage?
Sure! I'm usually able to have your order ready for contact-free pickup within 48 hours. Choose "local pickup" during check out and I will call you to arrange pick up.
Can you ship ASAP?
If you need overnight delivery of an order, please call me in advance to see if it's possible. Typically I ship all orders within three days.
If I'm in the middle of an online craft fair, such as The League of New Hampshire Craftsmen Online Sunapee Show, shipping will be batched to keep the process more efficient as I'm a small business and don't have staff to handle shipments.
Do you ship to Canada, or overseas?
I have shipped pottery overseas, and to Canada. Please, contact me if you are interested. The shipping rates are significantly more, and I will need to charge accordingly as it is often at least double that of the continental US.
